Astramat started from a simple truth: if something’s out of sight, it’s out of mind. And when it comes to movement, breath, and daily rituals, that friction can make the difference between showing up and skipping it.

Our double-wide, design-forward mat was created to live in your space, not hide in a closet. Because when your mat blends into your life—physically and visually—it becomes part of your rhythm.

🛋️ Born from My Living Room

Every night, I’d roll out a yoga mat to stretch, meditate, or just decompress in front of the TV. But it felt temporary. A vibe killer. It clashed with the room, got covered in dog hair, and was something I always had to put away.

I thought—what if the mat was beautiful enough to leave out? What if it was meant to stay put—like a piece of functional decor?

That one frustration turned into a mission.

After months of R&D and samples, I landed on a design that checked all the boxes:

✔ Oversized (4×6') for real freedom of movement
✔ A soft but stable top layer, with a no-slip grip underneath
✔ Pet-friendly, dirt-resistant, and actually looks good in your living room
